The Vuarnet brand was created in 1959 when Roger Pouilloux, an optician, and Jean Vuarnet, a great French alpine ski champion, decided to create a joint project. By joining forces, they wanted to offer an innovative, high-performance and elegant brand.

Driven by the success of the sunglasses, Vuarnet develops and elaborates in the 90's a range of sportswear as well as more technical skiwear, with an ideal thermal insulation to enjoy a nice day on the snowy slopes.
